What happens to my information once I’ve registered?

WriteClick will check that you are a member of the association you have nominated, and send you a confirmation email saying we will get back to you within 24 hours. Once checking is complete, we will either approve your application or ask for more details. Once approved, tourism bodies and PRs who subscribed to the site will be able to contact you.

Can I update my information?

Yes. You are encouraged to keep your information as up-to-date as possible. Please log in to your account and press update and your information will be automatically updated.

What if I’m not a member of any of the travel writer associations listed?

You can still be a member of WriteClick, as long as you can satisfy us that you are a bona fide travel writer. This may require you to send clippings or for us to contact the editors/publications for whom you currently write.

What does "include me in your featured journalist" mean?

On a regular basis, WriteClick has been designed to randomly select a journo/photographer’s bio which will be sent to tourism bodies and public relations’ subscribers to keep you top-of-mind when planning famils and function invites and story and photographic ideas.

Will my information be passed on to third parties?

WriteClick will not pass on your information to anyone other than those who have paid to subscribe to the website.

What if I forget my password?

Please click on password recovery located under the home-page log-in, this will take you to the log-in page, enter in your username, click the link down the bottom and you will be emailed your password.

What if I wish to deregister?

Please contact us at WriteClick and we will have you deleted from our data base.

As a paying subscriber (ie PR or Tourism Organisation), why would I need to pay in my second year as I’ll have a list of information?

Because WriteClick is always evolving and updating. Journalists and photographers are constantly adding to their portfolio of publications and new writers are always coming on board.

How will I know when my annual subscription is due?

You will receive an email from WriteClick one month out from your subscription expiry date.

How often can I log in to WriteClick for writer/photographer information?

You are encouraged to log in as often as you wish as writer and photographer details are always changing and being updated.
